I love the resonant, percussive sound that the upright bass brings to any musical environment - from the stripped down jazz/funk duo  H.A.R.D. (playing my arrangement of a Steely Dan classic), to some greasy street-level blues/jazz with Raven from Murphy's Law, to a bluegrass arrangement of the Don Williams/Eric Clapton classic with John McEwen of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
